Residex.AI Buys Kevala to Strengthen Senior Care Workforce Management

Residex.AI, a provider of Electronic Health Record (EHR) and electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) platforms for senior living communities, has announced the acquisition of Seattle-based health-tech startup Kevala. The deal strengthens Residex’s position in the senior care technology market by adding Kevala’s AI-powered workforce management platform, Quin, to its clinical care solutions. Residex’s platform already supports facilities in managing resident health records, medication administration, care planning, assessments, and compliance.

With Quin’s predictive scheduling and workforce optimization based on resident acuity and staff qualifications, the combined platform is designed to ensure quality care delivery while addressing the sector’s challenges of staffing shortages, operational costs, and increasing regulatory requirements.
