An AI-assisted recruitment tool called Paychex Recruiting Copilot was introduced by Paychex, a pioneer in human capital management (HCM) technology, to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) find talent more quickly and easily. Recruiting Copilot, developed in collaboration with Findem, uses a natural-language search engine to evaluate millions of applicants according to geography, experience, and skill sets, giving customers rapid access to a talent pool of competent individuals. By expediting the hiring, onboarding, and applicant tracking procedures, this technology improves the company's cloud-based HCM system, Paychex Flex, which already has recruitment capabilities.
In a recent customer study, Paychex found that 80% of SMBs struggle to find qualified candidates. According to Paychex Senior VP Beaumont Vance, the new AI solution brings advanced recruiting capabilities typically reserved for large enterprises to SMBs, reducing reliance on traditional job boards and accelerating the hiring process. John Phillips, VP of Findem, emphasized that the partnership enables businesses to find high-quality candidates efficiently, making the hiring process more effective. Serving over 745,000 customers across the U.S. and Europe, Paychex continues to innovate in HCM technology, further establishing itself as a critical resource in the SMB recruitment landscape.
