Fay, a dietitian platform in the U.S., announced it has become the first nutrition care service to join Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector. This partnership allows eligible Amazon customers to easily access Fay’s insurance-backed nutrition care, matching them with dietitians for personalized counseling, coaching, and preventive services, often at no cost. Fay Co-Founder and CEO Sammy Faycurry emphasized the impact of the partnership, stating, “Nutrition is the single most underutilized lever in preventing chronic disease—and we believe it should be as easy to access as ordering from Amazon. By joining Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector, Fay can deliver AI-powered, insurance-backed preventative care at unprecedented scale.”
Fay’s platform combines AI technology with a nationwide network of over 3,600 registered dietitians across all 50 states, accepting all major insurance plans. The company recently closed a $50 million Series B led by Goldman Sachs, valuing Fay at $500 million. John Singerling, Director of Strategic Growth and Network Development for Amazon Health Services, said, “We are committed to making it simple for customers to understand and use the health benefits available to them. We are excited to offer Fay as the first nutrition care service on Health Benefits Connector.” By integrating AI-driven tools with insurance coverage, Fay aims to make preventive nutrition care more accessible and to help individuals manage and prevent chronic conditions effectively.
