Enveda Secures $150M in Series D, Advances Clinical Programs, and Appoints Mikael Dolsten to Board

Enveda, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has announced the completion of a $150 million oversubscribed Series D funding round, bringing its total funding to $517 million. The financing will support multiple clinical programs entering Phase 1b and Phase 2 trials across conditions such as atopic dermatitis, asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, and obesity.

It will also back upcoming IND filings and strengthen Enveda’s proprietary platform, which uses AI, automation, and metabolomics to decode complex natural chemistry. “Enveda is proving that it’s possible to generate novel and first-in-class small molecule therapeutics at an unprecedented speed, scale, and efficiency,” said Akshay Rai, Principal at Premji Invest.

Alongside the funding, Enveda enrolled the first patient in a Phase 1b clinical trial for ENV-294, its lead anti-inflammatory candidate for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. ENV-294, derived entirely from Enveda’s platform, demonstrated strong preclinical efficacy and a favorable safety profile in earlier studies.

The company also appointed Dr. Mikael Dolsten, former Pfizer Chief Scientific Officer and President of Worldwide R&D, to its Board of Directors. He stated, “I’m proud to join Enveda, where the team has built the technology to harness the potential of life’s chemistry at scale.” Founder and CEO Viswa Colluru added, “By making this hidden language searchable and pairing it with AI, automation, and metabolomics, we are transforming how medicines are discovered.”
