After witnessing his father’s misdiagnosis at 17, Prashant Warier committed to using AI to reduce diagnostic errors and expand healthcare access globally. Building on his background at IIT-Delhi, Georgia Tech, SAP, and Fractal Analytics, he launched Qure.ai in 2016 to make medical imaging faster, more accurate, and more accessible. Today, the company’s suite of tools—including qXR for chest X-rays, qER for head CTs, and qCT for chest CTs—supports clinicians in more than 90 countries and has been validated through multiple FDA clearances and large-scale clinical studies.
Qure.ai has also drawn attention for the real-world impact of its technology. In India, the Philippines, and Nigeria, its AI-powered TB screening tools have improved early detection in underserved communities, while partnerships with organizations like AstraZeneca and the UK’s NHS have expanded the reach of its lung cancer solutions. With $65 million raised in its latest Series D round, Warier now aims to scale Qure.ai’s footprint in the U.S. and Europe while advancing foundation models for radiology. His vision is direct: to bring high-quality diagnostic support to more than a billion people, redefining how technology can close critical gaps in global healthcare.
