CHARM Therapeutics has raised $80 million in Series B financing to advance an AI-designed therapy for acute myeloid leukemia. The company, founded by Laksh Aithani and David Baker, is using its DragonFold platform to design menin inhibitors that address resistance mutations—a major limitation of first-generation treatments. With clinical development expected to begin in early 2026, CHARM’s approach aims to deliver stronger, safer, and more durable responses for patients facing one of the most aggressive forms of blood cancer.
Alongside the financing, CHARM added oncology leaders Briggs Morrison, M.D., and Kim Blackwell, M.D., to its board, strengthening its clinical expertise as it transitions toward the clinic. The raise, co-led by NEA and SR One with participation from OrbiMed, F-Prime, Khosla Ventures, and NVIDIA, brings CHARM’s total funding to more than $150 million.
