The Top 25 HealthTech Entrepreneurs of New York for 2025

Great Entrepreneurs is pleased to announce The Top 25 HealthTech Entrepreneurs of New York for 2025. Based in one of the country’s most active centers for healthcare, life sciences, and venture-backed startups, these founders are building companies that address long-standing inefficiencies across the system, from cost barriers in mental health to delays in clinical drug development. Their work spans insurance-integrated care platforms, AI-enabled biotech, and tech-driven approaches to diagnostics, women’s health, and primary care. Each is focused on building infrastructure that supports better outcomes through smarter systems, faster trials, or more equitable access to care.

Many of this year’s honorees bring experience from research, investing, or clinical practice and a deep understanding of what slows progress inside traditional institutions. Rather than working around those constraints, they’re redesigning the systems themselves. Together, their companies reflect the diversity and depth of New York’s healthtech sector and the impact that’s possible when execution is paired with domain expertise.

Among this year’s awardees, Randy Cheung, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of CipherHealth, is recognized for developing one of the earliest SaaS communication platforms to connect patients and caregivers across the care continuum. Rachel Liverman, Founder and CEO of Glowbar, brings a third-generation background in esthetics to her leadership of a standardized skincare model that delivers professional-grade treatments through a technology-supported platform. At TytoCare, CEO and Co-Founder Dedi Gilad has led the company’s expansion into a telehealth provider network spanning nearly 200 partners worldwide, offering remote physical exams through a connected, handheld device that enables clinical-grade care from home.

This year’s awardees were selected through a careful review of their leadership in building and scaling healthtech companies across New York. Each entrepreneur recognized has demonstrated a clear track record of advancing healthcare through technology, whether by improving access, streamlining delivery, or accelerating innovation. Please join us in celebrating The Top 25 HealthTech Entrepreneurs of New York for 2025.
