NinjaOne Raises $500M to Drive Innovation in Automated Endpoint Management

NinjaOne, an automated endpoint management provider, has secured $500 million in Series C extensions at a $5 billion valuation, reinforcing its position in the industry. The funding, raised in separate tranches led by ICONIQ Growth and CapitalG with participation from private investors, will fuel research and development in autonomous endpoint management, automated patching, and expanded IT use cases. Additionally, it will support the company’s commitment to customer service and help fund its planned acquisition of SaaS backup and data protection provider Dropsuite. The company has over 24,000 customers, including Nvidia, Lyft, Cintas, Vimeo, HelloFresh, The King’s Trust, and Porsche.

Over the past year, the company announced its intent to acquire Dropsuite for $262 million and launched 20 product releases, including NinjaOne AI for Patch Sentiment, NinjaOne Mobile Device Management (MDM), and free Warranty Tracking. NinjaOne remains founder-led and financially independent, with co-founders Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese maintaining majority control of the Board of Directors and the company’s voting power. With this funding, NinjaOne aims to accelerate innovation, expand its solutions, and strengthen its market leadership ensuring customers benefit from a seamless and efficient IT management experience.
