Hidden Level Expands Role in National Security with $100M Investment in Drone Detection Systems

Hidden Level, a provider of passive radar and radio frequency sensing for drone and other threat detection and location, has secured $65 million in Series C funding, bringing its total investment over the past year to $100 million. DFJ Growth led the latest funding round, with participation from Booz Allen Ventures, Revolution Growth, Costanoa Ventures, and others. The company develops passive radar and radio frequency sensing technology to detect and locate drones and other aerial threats. With drones becoming more advanced and harder to track, Hidden Level's technology addresses security concerns for military, government, and civilian applications. The company’s systems can monitor airspace, track drone operators, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. The new funding will help expand manufacturing, increase hiring, and support international growth.

Hidden Level works with multiple U.S. defense and security agencies, including the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Department of Defense. Its technology has been deployed at major events, such as presidential inaugurations, to enhance airspace security. The company provides scalable solutions as both hardware and data services, offering flexibility for different operational needs. Hidden Level’s expertise in advanced sensing technology stems from experience with the Department of Defense, NASA, and aviation authorities. With continued investment, the company aims to strengthen national security, protect critical infrastructure, and meet growing demands for airspace monitoring.
