Nebius Group N.V., an AI infrastructure company based in Amsterdam, has disclosed a $700 million private placement financing from investors such as Accel, NVIDIA, and Orbis Investments. Nebius will leverage the funding to augment its strategic initiatives to improve its full-stack AI infrastructure, which includes sophisticated tools for developers worldwide, AI-native cloud platforms, and large-scale GPU clusters. CEO Arkady Volozh highlighted the significance of this financing in accelerating the company's global AI infrastructure development across two continents. With a workforce of 400 engineers specializing in cutting-edge cloud engineering, machine learning, and hardware innovation, Nebius is positioned to meet the growing demands of the global AI industry.
The company is focusing on investments in custom-built data centers, additional colocations, and expanded facilities to cater to AI workloads. Its AI-native GPU cloud supports the full machine learning lifecycle, while the recently launched Nebius AI Studio offers flexible and cost-efficient inference services. Alongside this strategic financing, Nebius has decided against a previously authorized share repurchase program, choosing instead to channel resources into its core business. The company anticipates achieving an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $750 million to $1 billion by the end of 2025, reflecting its robust market position and growth potential in the AI sector.
