Enfabrica, an AI networking chip startup, has raised $115 million in its Series C funding round, led by Spark Capital. This funding round comes just over a year after the company’s Series B, which raised $125 million. The new investors include major players in the chip industry such as Arm Holdings, Cisco Investments, Maverick Silicon, Samsung Catalyst Fund, and VentureTech Alliance, alongside returning investors like Atreides Management and Alumni Ventures. This funding will support Enfabrica as it prepares to release its new ACF SuperNIC chip, designed to improve networking infrastructure for AI chips, enabling efficient data flow for modern AI workloads.
The Series C investment marks a significant step forward for Enfabrica, which aims to position itself as a leading provider of AI networking chips and software. The company’s co-founder and CEO, Rochan Sankar, highlighted the impact of its high-bandwidth network interface controller fabric, which is optimized for accelerated computing clusters. With this new capital, Enfabrica plans to scale its operations and solidify its role in the growing semiconductor market, which has seen continued strong investment in 2024, maintaining a steady trend in venture dollars for semiconductor startups.
