Among this year’s awardees, Maulik Majmudar, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Biofourmis, has utilized his background in cardiology and digital health to develop advanced remote monitoring solutions that enhance patient care. Oliver Kharraz, Founder and CEO of Zocdoc, has transformed healthcare access with an innovative marketplace that simplifies the process of finding and booking medical appointments for patients. Isabelle Kenyon, Founder of Calibrate, has redefined the approach to weight management by combining medication and behavior change in a data-driven, personalized metabolic health platform that offers effective, long-term solutions for patients.

1. Oliver Kharraz
Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Zocdoc
Oliver Kharraz is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Zocdoc, a healthcare marketplace that helps patients find and book in-person or virtual appointments with healthcare providers. Zocdoc streamlines access to various types of care, including primary care, dentistry, dermatology, and mental health, by allowing users to search for doctors based on specialty, location, insurance coverage, and availability. Kharraz has extensive experience building efficiency in large scale healthcare organizations using information technology.
Prior to Zocdoc, Kharraz was an Associate Principal at McKinsey and Company, where he developed and implemented new patient utilization models for the national health services of a number of governments and major hospital chains. He later became a resident doctor at the clinic of Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, where he earned an MD and a doctorate in neuroscience. He also holds a master’s degree in philosophy from the Jesuit College of Philosophy in Munich.
2. Zachariah Reitano
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ro
Zachariah Reitano is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ro, a direct-to-patient healthcare company providing high-quality, affordable care without the need for insurance. Ro connects telehealth, in-home care, diagnostics, labs, and pharmacy services nationwide through its vertically integrated platform.
Ro’s platform offers a personalized, end-to-end healthcare experience, from diagnosis to medication delivery and ongoing care. Since 2017, the company has facilitated over eight million digital healthcare visits across nearly every county in the United States, including 98% of primary care deserts.
Prior to Ro, Reitano was the entrepreneur in residence at prehype, a venture studio in New York City. He also previously founded Shout, a mobile platform backed by Accel and YC. Reitano graduated from Columbia University with an undergraduate degree in economics and creative writing.
3. Gabriel Diop
Co-Founder, Rula
Gabriel Diop is the Co-Founder of Rula Health, formerly known as Path Mental Health, a mental and behavioral healthcare provider group enabled by technology. As Co-Founder, he oversees clinical and partnerships with payers and health systems. Diop is dedicated to improving access, equity, high quality care, and a modern consumer experience to Rula’s over 100 million members.
Previously, Diop led partnerships at Spruce Health, a telehealth company that powers the onsite clinic communication for several Fortune 500 companies. He graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
4. Scott Watterson
Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board, iFIT
Scott Watterson is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at iFIT, a fitness technology company known for its interactive workout platform and connected fitness software. The company offers a range of fitness equipment, including treadmills, bikes, and rowers. iFIT focuses on delivering advanced, personalized fitness experiences through guided workouts and live fitness classes.
Watterson has served in the role since 1988, growing iFIT, formerly known as ICON Health and Fitness, Inc., to a key player connected fitness. He has 40 years of experience in the fitness industry, having previously co-founded iFIT’s predecessor company, Weslo, Inc., in 1977. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees at Utah State University, Utah State University Foundation, the Board of Trustees for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah, and the Utah Foundation. Watterson graduated from Utah State University College of Business.
5. Alyson Watson
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Modern Health
Alyson Watson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Health, a mental health platform that supports over 300 companies globally. It offers employees access to one-on-one, group, and self-serve digital resources for emotional, professional, social, financial, and physical well-being within one platform. The company provides support tailored to various needs, from managing stress to treating depression, guiding individuals to appropriate care when needed.
Previously, Watson worked in product partner operations at Collective Health. Prior to that, she was an Operations Manager at Keas. Earlier in her career she worked with PwC as a Senior Associate in strategy consulting. Watson earned bachelor’s degrees in global sustainability and health as well as entrepreneurship and management from The Johns Hopkins University.
6. Virgílio Bento
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Sword Health
Virgílio Bento is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Sword Health, a digital health company that aims to address pain for two billion people through AI-driven care. Sword Health combines human-led care with technology, using an AI-driven platform to predict, prevent, and treat pain.
Sword Health’s platform connects patients with licensed physical therapists remotely and includes an interactive AI experience, allowing members to access care at any time and anywhere under clinician supervision. Bento brings nine years of experience to his current role, having began his career in 2015. He graduated from Universidade de Aveiro with a PhD in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering.
7. Mark Frank
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, SonderMind
Mark Frank is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of SonderMind, where he leads a team focused on redesigning behavioral health to increase access, expand utilization, and improve clinical outcomes. SonderMind aims to make behavioral healthcare more accessible and convenient by offering both online and in-person therapy while working to keep services affordable for patients.
Prior to founding SonderMind, Frank helped found three other ventures, including Next Oncology, TermScout, and SafeImageMD. Prior to his career as an entrepreneur, he worked in healthcare investment banking at Morgan Stanley, as well as with Lehman Brothers and CDI Global. Prior to his business career, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
Frank holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a master’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix, a master’s degree in engineering management from Northwestern University, and an MBA in finance and operations from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
8. Andrew Dudum
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hims & Hers
Andrew Dudum is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hims & Hers, where he sets the vision and strategy for the company. Dudum launched Hims in 2017 to provide personalized health and wellness experiences. Since its founding, the company has grown to power nearly nine million medical visits, offering care in areas such as mental health, sexual health, dermatology, and primary care.
Dudumn holds a bachelor’s degree in management and economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, he served as Co-Founder and General Partner at Atomic, a company builder and venture fund that prototypes new companies.
9. Mike Collette
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Patientpoint
Mike Collette is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Patientpoint, a leading digital health company that connects patients, healthcare providers, and life sciences companies with the essential information at critical moments in care decisions.
Collette is an entrepreneur, executive, and pioneer in aperture and point-of-care marketing. He previously co-founded OnTarget Media and Healthy Advice Networks, which would later evolve to become PatientPoint. As CEO, he helps lead PatientPoint through a period of growth and technical innovation in the healthcare industry.
Collette began his career at Procter and Gamble, working in the health and personal care division. He currently serves as executive in residence at CincyTech USA, helping other entrepreneurs turn transformational ideas into high-growth technology companies. He holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from Dartmouth College.
10. Alex Tew
Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman, Calm
Alex Tew is the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman of Calm, a leading mental wellness brand known for its app focused on sleep, meditation, and relaxation. The app offers hundreds of hours of original audio content available in seven languages and supports users in more than 190 countries.
Tew brings 19 years of experience to his current role. Before joining Calm, Tew was a product manager at Monkey Inferno and before that a Co-Founder and CEO at PopJam. Earlier in his career he worked with Million Dollar Homepage as a Founder.
11. Sean Duffy
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Omada Health
Sean Duffy is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omada Health, a virtual-first healthcare provider. Omada care teams implement clinically-validated behavior change protocols for individuals living with diabetes, hypertension, prediabetes, weight management, and musculoskeletal issues.
Previously, Duffy was an editor at Medgadget and before that a health and wellness domain specialist at IDEO. Earlier in his career he worked with Google in people analytics. Duffy earned an MD from Harvard Medical School, an MBA in healthcare from Harvard Business School, and an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Columbia University.
12. Siva Namasivayam
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Cohere Health
Siva Namasivayam is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cohere Health, a clinical intelligence company that offers intelligent prior authorization to enhance patient outcomes. Cohere Health aligns physicians and health plans on evidence-based care paths, reducing administrative expenses and improving the patient’s entire care journey.
Prior to co-founding Cohere, Namasivayam was a Founding Partner of SCIO Health Analytics, which served over fifty Fortune 500 healthcare organizations. Namasivayam has more than 20 years of experience in utilizing technology and data to improve healthcare processes. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
13. Peter Foley
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, LetsGetChecked
Peter Foley is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of LetsGetChecked, a global healthcare solutions company offering health testing, virtual care, and medication delivery for a wide range of health and wellness conditions. LetsGetChecked operates an end-to-end model, including manufacturing, logistics, lab analysis, physician support, and prescription fulfillment.
Previously, Foley was a Director at The Health Partnership. Foley earned a master’s degree in management and diagnostic-related groups from the University College Dublin and an undergraduate degree in medical and company law from Dublin Business School.
14. Othman Laraki
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Color
Othman Laraki is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Color Health, a healthcare delivery platform. Color Health offers the Virtual Cancer Clinic, a comprehensive cancer program that supports employees and members across all stages of the cancer journey. Color provides the technology, infrastructure, and logistics required to distribute large-scale health initiatives to diverse populations.
Previously, Laraki was an Early Product Leader at Google, where he worked on performance infrastructure and client-side software, including the Google Chrome browser. After leaving Google, he co-founded MixerLabs, which was one of Twitter’s first acquisitions. At Twitter, Laraki was the Vice President of Product, before founding Color Health.
Laraki holds degrees in computer science and management from Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a long-time investor and advisor to leading companies such as Pinterest, AngelList, Slack, Instacart, Gitlab, and others.
15. Kamal Patel
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, ELLKAY
Kamal Patel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ELLKAY, a healthcare connectivity company providing interoperability solutions nationwide since 2002. ELLKAY connects over 58,000 healthcare facilities, working with more than 750 EHR/PM systems across 1,100 versions. It serves diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, health systems, payers, and healthcare IT vendors, building data pipelines to support seamless data exchange in the healthcare industry.
16. George Hadjigeorgiou
Co-Founder, ZOE
George Hadjigeorgiou is the Co-Founder of ZOE, a nutritional science company that combines scientific research with AI to help individuals understand their body's response to food and optimize their metabolism.
ZOE offers a personalized nutrition program focused on improving overall health and well-being. The company brings together expertise in biology, engineering, data science, and nutrition science to develop evidence-based nutritional insights, currently serving individuals in the U.S. and the UK.
Hadjigeorgiou previously served as CEO of HouseTrip, later acquired by TripAdvisor, and Co-Founder of efood, a leading food delivery platform in Europe, acquired by Delivery Hero. Hadjigeorgiou holds bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from Tufts University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
17. Kristina Saffran
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Equip Health
Kristina Saffran is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Equip, a virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program. Developed by clinical experts and individuals with lived experience, Equip offers a comprehensive approach to support lasting recovery.
Using Equip, patients receive a dedicated care team, including a therapist, dietitian, physician, and peer and family mentor. The company operates nationwide and partners with most major health insurance plans.
Prior to Equip, Saffran founded Project HEAL, a leading grassroots eating disorder non-profit dedicated to treatment access. Saffran graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
18. Sandeep Acharya
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Octave
Sandeep Acharya is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Octave, a mental healthcare provider focused on accessibility and sustainability. Octave partners with clients to create personalized care plans tailored to individual needs. Grounded in science, it broadens pathways for care delivery, aiming to facilitate meaningful and measurable change for its clients.
Prior to co-founding Octave, Acharya led strategy at One Medical for five years. In this role, he was responsible for launching and scaling several new services and oversaw the growth of its employer business to over 1,000 companies, while being a member of a senior leadership team that expanded the company to over sixty clinics in eight cities.
Before One Medical, Acharya spent his career as an investor, operator, and consultant in the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors at Bain and Company, Bain Capital, and Insight Venture Partners. Acharya holds degrees in computer science and business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School.
19. Uday Kumar
Founder, iRhythm Technologies
Uday Kumar is the Founder of iRhythm Technologies, a digital healthcare company focused on redefining the way cardiac arrhythmias are clinically diagnosed by combining wearable biosensing technology with cloud-based data analytics and machine learning capabilities. The company’s product, the Zio Patch, is a discreet and comfortable monitoring device resembling an adhesive bandage.
Kumar brings 26 years of experience to his current role. Previously, he was a Co-Founder and board member at Qurious.io, Inc., acquired by Pegasystems, Inc., and before that a Co-Founder and board member at Sympara Medical, Inc. Earlier in his career he worked with Biomedical Modeling Inc. as Chief Medical Officer and VP. Kumar graduated from Harvard Medical School with an MD and from Harvard University with an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology.
20. Chris Riopelle
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Strive Health
Chris Riopelle is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Strive Health, where he leads the company in its efforts to improve the lives of underserved patients living with kidney disease, from chronic through end-stage. Strive Health supports 110,000 patients across 50 states with $3.8 billion in medical spend under management.
In his role as CEO, Riopelle works to drive value for patients, providers, and payors by transforming how kidney care is delivered in the U.S. Under his leadership, Strive Health’s clinical model has improved care quality and reduced hospital admissions by nearly 50%, re-admissions by 30%, and total cost of care by 20%.
Riopelle started his career in healthcare at GeriMed, and later spent 10 years in the kidney care industry at Gambro and DaVita, culminating in leading a $1 billion division of DaVita. Riopelle also served as COO of LaVie Care Centers, where he led the turnaround and successful exit of the business.
He also served as CEO of NorthStar Anesthesia, an anesthesia management company that grew from $130 million to $500 million in revenue under his leadership. Riopelle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Albion College and a JD/MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
21. Maulik Majmudar
Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Biofourmis
Maulik Majmudar is a cardiologist, Co-Founder, and Chief Medical Officer at Biofourmis, a digital health company specializing in data-driven care and personalized medicine. Biofourmis uses AI-powered platforms, biosensors, and data analytics to provide remote patient monitoring and predictive analytics, helping clinicians deliver personalized care outside of traditional healthcare settings.
Prior to joining Biofourmis, Dr. Majmudar was the Medical Officer for Amazon Halo and led the development and launch of Amazon’s first health membership service. Prior to Amazon, he was Associate Director of the Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, where he managed digital health solutions to improve care delivery as well as the patient and provider experience.
Dr. Majmudar attended the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He holds two patents and has had several publications in scientific journals.
22. Julia Taylor Cheek
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Everly Health
Julia Cheek is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Everly Health, a digital health company focused on virtual, diagnostics-driven care. Cheek founded Everlywell, the consumer brand of Everly Health, in 2015 to provide consumers access to affordable at-home lab tests. Everly Health served over 40 million people in 2021 alone and partners with major health plans and diagnostic companies to close care gaps and improve health outcomes.
Previously, Cheek was a Vice President of Corporate Strategy at MoneyGram International. Earlier in her career she worked with Deloitte as a consultant. Cheek attended Vanderbilt University and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.
23. Georgia Gaveras
Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Talkiatry
Dr. Georgia Gaveras is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Talkiatry, a national mental health practice that provides in-network psychiatry and therapy. Dr. Gaveras is triple board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine. Her practice focuses on medication management.
Dr. Gaveras received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.
Dr. Gaveras then worked with dually-diagnosed adolescents before becoming the Director of Training and Education for the Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. She was then the associate director of child and adolescent emergency psychiatry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center before becoming the Director of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn.
24. Aly Orady
Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Tonal
Aly Orady is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tonal, where he oversees the company’s technology portfolio. Tonal is a smart home gym that uses artificial intelligence and coaching to provide strength training. In 2013, Orady developed the digital resistance mechanisms and initial algorithms that power the product today.
After exiting two prior startups, Orady led Tonal as Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2023, securing dozens of patents, fundraising, and overseeing the company’s senior leadership team, structure, and operations. Orady holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from McMaster University in Ontario.
25. Allon Bloch
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, K Health
Allon Bloch is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of K Health, an AI-driven primary care company based in New York. K Health offers a 24/7 virtual primary care solution available to millions of people in the U.S. through leading health systems and insurers, as well as through a direct-to-consumer mobile app. Bloch brings 24 years of experience to his current role.
Bloch previously served as CEO of Wix.com and Vroom, where he gained experience in digital transformation and innovation. With a background in the startup ecosystem and tech-driven solutions, he is dedicated to prioritizing customer-centric approaches. Bloch holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in physics and computer science from Bar-Ilan University.
26. Maayan Cohen
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hello Heart
Maayan Cohen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hello Heart, a digital health company focused on preventive heart health. Hello Heart provides a connected blood pressure monitor and an AI-driven app to help users track key heart metrics, such as blood pressure and cholesterol, while offering personalized insights on healthy lifestyle habits.
Cohen brings 18 years of experience to her current role and first got her start in 2006 as a Project Manager at Perach, before eventually rising to Head of Retail and Consumer Goods practice at TASC Consulting and Capital, her most recent position prior to joining Hello Heart. Cohen graduated from Tel Aviv University with an MBA in entrepreneurship and innovation and an undergraduate degree in biotechnology.
27. Guillaume De Zwirek
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Artera
Guillaume de Zwirek is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Artera, a SaaS digital health company specializing in patient communications. Founded in 2015, Artera is now trusted by over 750 healthcare systems and federal agencies, facilitating 2.2 billion conversations annually for more than 100 million patients. De Zwirek leads the company’s efforts to enhance patient experience by streamlining communication in healthcare.
Before founding Artera, De Zwirek worked at Google and Graphiq.com, which was later acquired by Amazon. He graduated from the University of Southern California with bachelor’s degrees in classical guitar performance and business administration.
28. Isabelle Kenyon
Founder, Calibrate
Isabelle Kenyon is the Founder of Calibrate, a metabolic health company focused on changing the approach to weight treatment. Calibrate combines medication with behavior change to improve metabolic health and achieve long-term, cost-effective weight loss. Under Kenyon's leadership, the company has treated 30,000 patients, contracted with national payors, and raised over $200 million in venture capital while reducing the total cost of care for employers and payers.
Prior to founding Calibrate, Kenyon led business operations, growth, and strategic partnerships and communications at Capsule, a technology company focused on transforming the pharmacy industry. Before Capsule, she worked at consumer brands in London and New York. Kenyon began her career as an investment banker in Hong Kong and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences.
29. Faris Ghawi
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vytalize Health
Faris Ghawi is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vytalize Health, a leading value-based care platform. The company helps independent physicians and practices stay ahead in a rapidly changing healthcare system by strengthening relationships with their patients through data-driven, holistic, and personalized care. Ghawi brings 14 years of experience to his current role.
Before joining Vytalize Health, Ghawi was a Senior Analyst and transaction advisory services consultant at Ernst and Young. Earlier in his career he worked with Clark Construction Group as a project manager. Ghawi graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA and from Lehigh University with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and finance.
30. Kyna Fong
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Elation Health
Kyna Fong is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Elation Health, a platform for independent primary care that aims to strengthen the relationship between patients and physicians. The company delivers clinical-first solutions built on a collaborative EHR platform, designed to help practices deliver personalized patient care. Today, Elation Health serves 32,000 clinicians caring for millions of Americans.
Fong graduated at 19 years old from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in applied math and a master’s degree in computer science. She holds a PhD in economics from Stanford University, where she focused on healthcare. She spent four years as a tenure-track professor in Stanford’s economics department before starting Elation.
31. Steve Sidel
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mindoula Health
Steve Sidel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mindoula Health, a leading population health management company that scales the human connection through technology to address mind, body, and life challenges. Mindoula identifies and supports underserved populations, delivering tech-enabled, team-based, 24/7 support across the continuum of care.
Sidel first got his start in 1990 as a litigation associate at Irell and Manella. From there, he went on to Licht and Semonoff, before eventually rising to CEO at Edline, his most recent position prior to joining Mindoula Health. Sidel holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brown University.
32. Cheryl Lee Eberting
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, AZOVA
Cheryl Lee Eberting is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AZOVA, a preventive care company focusing on improving access to virtual care, in-home and laboratory testing. AZOVA creates digital provider networks, making health benefits accessible to individuals nationwide. The company’s cloud-based platform enables healthcare providers, pharmacists, behavioral health professionals, and other specialists to efficiently deliver high-quality care.

Eberting personally led the creation of the AZOVA Healthcare Commerce Cloud, a platform designed to help stakeholders gain measurable economic value from their technology investments.
